Route 8. Moor Road and Whitelee forest.

[Currently not open during windfarm construction]

An off road route through the forest – site of the propose wind farm so likely to change.

 Follow route 7 to Waterside. After the rise coming out of the village take road to left opposite Hareshaw farm. Follow this road for 2.5 mi then right past Craigends farm, through the gate and on to the forestry road. After approx ¾ mi turn left for an 8mi route through the Whitelee forest. After approx 5mi turn right at T-junction and follow the main route until coming out of the forest with the view over Glasgow. Follow the road down to T-junction then left and follow signs back to Eaglesham.
