Welcome to our Church, especially if you are visiting us. If you wish to know more about our various activities, aims and objectives, please complete one of the blue cards at the end of each pew, or speak to one of the Duty Team at the door.

Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits will be served in the Carswell Halls after the Service today. Please join us-you will be welcome.

Fairtrade Stalls are held on the second and last Sundays of each month after the morning service. This month’s Stalls will be on Sunday 13th April and (TODAY) Sunday 27th April.

MONDAY GROUP. A new short series of studies entitled “—The Life You Always Wanted” will commence on Monday 21 April at 7.30 p.m. in the Lesser Hall. The studies will take the form of short DVD and discussion with plenty of time for tea/coffee and other delights. These studies are very much enjoyed by those of us attending giving us an opportunity to look at the bigger questions we may have about our faith (or lack of it) in a very relaxed and friendly environment. Please think about joining us for at least one meeting. There is no pressure to come back if you don’t feel it is for you. Everyone will be given a very warm welcome.

Greenbank Church have sent us the Programme for Recitals from now until the end of June. This is on display in the Carswell Halls.

Holiday Club. There will be a meeting on Tues. 29th. April at 7.30 p.m. in the Upper Room, Carswell Hall, for all those who would like to help with "Seaside Rock" which is to run from Mon. 4th. August until Fri. 8th. August and for those who may be unable to help that week but who would be willing to assist with preparations beforehand.

Members of the WRVS in Eaglesham are holding a Cream Tea on Wednesday 30th April in the Carswell Hall from 2 - 4 p.m. There will be the usual stalls and the money raised goes towards our Christmas Parcels for our meals-on-wheels recipients and charities we support. Tickets are £1.20 and can be obtained from any WRVS member or you can pay at the door. We hope you will support us in this worthwhile cause. (Fiona Hamilton 302981)

Today is the last Sunday to pick up a Faith Development Group questionnaire; these can be found in bundles around the Church; the returns box will be available in the vestibule till Sunday 11th May. The questionnaire can also be printed off the church website .

East Renfrewshire are to hold a “Global Dimensions to Interfaith Dialogue” Seminar on Monday, April 28th 2008. See the poster on display in the Carswell Halls for further details.

On Friday, May 9th. Greenbank Church will hold a special Charity Concert for the Al-Shurooq School for the Blind in Bethlehem. Guest performers are the Boxmeers Vocaal Ensemble from the Netherlands. Tickets £5 available from Greenbank Church Office.

BIG (Business in Glasgow)  hold monthly lunchtime talks and regularly send us details, The poster giving details of the talks for May and June is on display in the Carswell Halls.

YOU’RE AN ANGEL is a six week course designed to give people confidence to speak out about their Christian Faith when the occasion arises. Eaglesham is considering whether to take up the course and a one -off taster evening has been arranged in the Carswell Halls at 7.30 p.m. till around 9.00 p.m. on Thursday 8th May with tea, coffee & biscuits at the end. Elders and members who feel this might be of interest are most welcome to come along to help decide if the full course is for us.

Elders please note that there will be a short Kirk Session meeting on Tues 6th May

On Sunday 11th May we will be privileged to welcome to the 11 a.m. service - The Muir family from Torrance. Alastair, Chrissie and their three young children. During worship we will learn more about how they hope to serve the Lord through going to live and work in Thailand.  We invite you to join us for coffee in the Carswell Hall after the Service - when we can meet the family in a more informal setting. This time of Fellowship will give us the opportunity to show that our Church family are anxious to support them in love, prayer and practical ways.

Please do come along to meet the Muirs and do pray for Gods blessing for their visit to Eaglesham and their future in Thailand
